Rev. Martin Hoskins, age 91, went home to be with the Lord. He was a loving husband of 69 years, father of 12 children, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather. He loved attending church and preaching for 52 years and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Rev. Hoskins is preceded in death by his loving wife, Josie Thompson Hoskins; parents, Gabe Lee and Georgia Ann Cox Hoskins; sons, Marty Hoskins and Jeffrey Hoskins; daughter, Joyce Ann Randolph; brothers, Robert Hoskins and James Luther Hoskins; sister, Geraldine Miracle.

He is survived by his sons, Doyle Hoskins of LaFollette, Clay Hoskins of LaFollette, and Monroe Hoskins of Crossville; daughters, Sharon Compson of Lenoir City, Sissy Cubbison and husband Ross of North Carolina, Sarah McGhee and husband Odell of Jacksboro, Diana Bailey of LaFollette, Rosie Bolinger and husband Charles of Crossville, Erma Elliot of Rocky Top; brothers, Gabe Hoskins Jr. of Celina, Ohio, and Henry Hoskins and wife Shirley of Celina, Ohio; sister, Irene Welch and husband Fred of Harrogate, 19 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 22, 2023, from 5 PM to 7 PM in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home. Military Honors will be presented at 7 PM by the Campbell County Honor Guard. Funeral service to follow with Rev. Tom Reece officiating. Family and friends will meet on Sunday, April 23, 2023, at the Green Cemetery in Pineville, KY for a 2 PM interment.
