LAFOLLETTE, TN. (WLAF)- The Tennessee Department of Transportation is installing handicap accessible ramps in downtown LaFollette.

The project is expected to take 90 days to complete. Two companies are working to install the corner curbs, according to Chris Martin, one of the project managers.

TDOT authorized the installation of the new curbs.

  1. Not going to lie, it would be nice to have a sidewalk going down E Hemlock Street. People walk this street all of the time and people do 40+, 50+ on this road constantly and the existing sidewalk ends at Indiana Baptist Church.
