Man is identified as 31 year old Chadwick McCullah

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – The body of a fully dressed male was discovered floating on Norris Lake not long after midnight Sunday morning.

Officials told WLAF a couple of fishermen in separate boats saw what they thought was a body on the lake and called 911 at 12:15am. Members of the La Follette Rescue Squad were first on the scene at the end of Longmire Lane, just off Loop Road.

One official said this appears to be a camping incident of an accidental nature. The man’s tent was set up near the lake on the LaFollette side of the White Bridge, according to officials.

At this point of the investigation foul play is not suspected, according to a Campbell County Sheriff’s Detective.
