JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – The Campbell County planning commission met briefly Monday evening, approving several minor lot subdivisions.

First approved was a minor lot subdivision on Lakemore Lane for Norris Ventues LLC.

Also approved was a minor lot subdivision on Perry Smith Lane for Charles Samples, as well as a minor lot subdivision on Yoakum Hollow Road for Roger and Regina Day.

According to County Planner Jordan Rockwell, all three of these were “simple plans, with no issues,” and he recommended approval.

A minor lot subdivision on Chestnut Stump Road was approved for Marissa Lawson on the condition that she and her husband would maintain the easement into perpetuity.

Rockwell recommended approval on this as well.

Final business discussed was for a minor lot subdivision on Noah Lane for Roger Jackson. This was tabled until the September County Planning Commission meeting.

According to Rockwell, he has to check with County Road Superintendent Ron Dilbeck to see if Noah Lane is a County road or an easement.

“You can’t do an easement off of an easement, so I will check with Dilbeck and we will go from there,” Rockwell said.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 08/08/2023-6AM)
