Traffic detoured through Caryville, Jacksboro, La Follette and Elk Valley for several hours on Tuesday

JELLICO, TN (WLAF) – A north bound 18-wheeler overturned on I-75 not long after 3pm Tuesday.

The driver of the big rig, hauling corn syrup, was able to safely work his way out of the cab, according to Central Dispatch.

All lanes of I-75 are blocked at Mile Marker 159, a mile south of Jellico.

  1. Hope all involved are ok. It’s a good reminder that although truckers seem like an obstacle on the road, we’re at work giving up family time going into the holidays to provide SERVICES, Merchandise and FOOD. Let’s share the roads and have safe travels!
