Gladys Marie Smith, age 52 of LaFollette, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 12, 2024. She was born on October 31, 1971, to the late Freddie Smith and Geneva (Murray) Smith. She was a loving mother and grandmother that enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also loved to cook for her family and enjoyed singing.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Jason Smith and her sister Elizabeth Smith.

She is survived by her son Travis DeWayne Smith and Whitney of LaFollette; daughter Felicia Lynn Smith and Corey Gibson of LaFollette; sister Patricia Smith of LaFollette; grandchildren Casey, Payton, McKynzi, Garrett, Addison, Abel, and Paisley; father of her children Gary Carroll and wife Tina Carroll; special nieces Myranda Smith and Elizabeth Adkins; Nephew Charles Brown; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be from 5:00-6:00 PM on Monday, January 22, 2024, in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home, 305 E. Beech Street, LaFollette TN, with the funeral service to follow at 6:00 PM.
