Pricilla Byrge Burton, age 75 of Caryville, went to her Heavenly home on Monday, April 15, 2024. She was born on January 14, 1949, to the late Arvile Byrge and Arletta (Allen) Byrge. Pricilla enjoyed gardening, and canning, loved to sing, enjoyed all animals, and loved to cook, and was well known for making biscuits, but her biggest joy was her grandkids and great-grandchildren. She also attended Bible Way Gospel Church in Clinton.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers Elmer Byrge and Gene Byrge, and sisters Bernice Cloud, Louise Matthews, Margaret Phillips, and Paralee Nelson.

Pricillia is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Jimmy Burton Sr. of Caryville, sons Jimmy Burton Jr. and wife Lisa of Jacksboro and Jason Howard Burton and wife Amy of West Virginia; Daughter Tina Douglas of LaFollette; sisters Mary Lou Baugh of Illinois and Millie Carroll of Jacksboro; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 PM on Friday, April 19, 2024, in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Bubba Hooks officiating. Friends and family will meet at 10:15 AM on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Martin Wilson Funeral Home to go in funeral procession to Queener Cemetery for an 11:00 AM interment.
