Car collides with deer this AM between Jacksboro & Caryville

CARYVILLE, TN (WLAF) – A car hit a deer this morning just before 7 am on the four lane at Elkins Road. 

For the second time in a week, a car has hit a deer along the same stretch of highway.  Last week a car collided with a deer on the four lane at Dog Creek Road which is just up the road from this morning’s collision.  In that incident, the deer was hit on the westbound side of the highway.  The deer landed in the lanes of the eastbound side of the road.

There were no injuries reported for the occupants of the cars in either mishap.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 01/17/2020-6:45AM)
