NASHVILLE, TN (WLAF) – The number of COVD-19 cases in Campbell County remained at 17 for weeks with 16 of those patients having recovered. However, in the Saturday report from the State Department of Health, one new COVID-19 case was reported in Campbell County. Results through Wednesday from 1,1513 COVID-19 tests in Campbell County have come back negative through Sunday. There has been one death reported from COVID-19 in Campbell County.
Across Tennessee, the Tennessee Department of Health reports 388 people have died from complications due to the Coronavirus as of Wednesday afternoon. That’s seven more deaths since Tuesday. Additionally, 1,829 patients have been hospitalized.
As of Wednesday afternoon’s report, 24,822 tests (up 447 from Tuesday) have come back positive for the virus out of 470,779 tests. The number of patients who have recovered from the virus totals 16,319.
