On February 19, 2019, Campbell Criminal Court Judge E. Shayne Sexton found the following individuals in violation of their supervised release and remanded them to Tennessee Department of Corrections (TDOC) custody:
Erik Scott Smith
Erik Scott Smith, age 31 of Jellico, had previously pleaded guilty to three counts of Burglary and Theft under $1,000.00, Felony Evading Arrest, Felony Reckless Endangerment, Driving on Revoked 2nd, Possession of a Prohibited Weapon, and received a suspended sentence of 11 years supervised by TDOC. He was found guilty of violating the terms of his release and was sentenced to serve his 11 year sentence in TDOC custody.
Ronald O. Bowling II
Ronald O. Bowling II, age 37 of La Follette, had previously pleaded guilty to Forgery and received a suspended sentence of 2 years supervised by TDOC for a total of 4 years. He was found guilty of violating the terms of his release and was sentenced to serve his 2 year sentence in TDOC custody.
Caesar Clayton Adkins
Caesar Clayton Adkins, age 39 of La Follette, had previously pleaded to Reckless Aggravated Assault and received a suspended sentence of 2 years supervised by TDOC. He was found guilty of violating the terms of his release and was sentenced to serve his 2 year sentence in TDOC custody.
Michael Lawson
Michael Lawson, age 28 of Clairfield, had previously pleaded guilty to Theft of Property over $1,000.00 but less than $10,000 and received a suspended sentence of 3 years supervised by TDOC. He was found guilty of violating the terms of his release and was sentenced to serve his 3 year sentence in TDOC custody.
Landon R. Brown
Landon R. Brown, age 45 of Knoxville, had previously pleaded guilty to Possession of Schedule II for Resale and received a suspended sentence of 3 years supervised by TDOC. He was found guilty of violating the terms of his release and was sentenced to serve his 3 year sentence in TDOC custody.
Alex Brandon Allen
Alex Brandon Allen, age 21 of La Follette, had previously pleaded guilty to Aggravated Burglary, Theft of Property less than $500, Theft of Merchandise less than $500 and received a suspended 4 year sentence supervised by TDOC. He was found guilty of violating the terms of his release and was sentenced to serve his 4 year sentence in TDOC custody.
Kayla Ann Dennis
Kayla Ann Dennis, age 28 of La Follette, had previously pleaded guilty to Promotion of Methamphetamine and Reckless Endangerment and received a suspended 5 year sentence supervised by TDOC. She was found guilty of violating the terms of her release and was sentenced to serve her 5 year sentence in TDOC custody.
