JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – The Town of Jacksboro met on Thursday night and addressed a light agenda.

Resolution 357 was approved. The resolution allows Mayor June Forstner to apply for a Community Block Development Grant (CDBG) on behalf of Caryville Jacksboro Utilities. The grant is for phase two of the Dog Creek project.

The board agreed to declare outdated items at the police department as surplus property so they can be disposed of correctly.
