James Arvil Hale, age 84, of Jacksboro passed away Monday, January 18, 2021. He was of the Baptist Faith and a United States Navy Veteran. He retired from General Motors after 25 years. He is preceded in death by his parents Clinton & Alice Phillips Hale; siblings Lexie, Avery, Pauline, Arzo and Sonny Hale.

A Graveside Service and Interment was held at Campbell Memorial Gardens with Military Honors by the Campbell County Honor Guard.

  1. My condolences to the family. He was my first cousin. His mother was my father Ethel’s sister.
    I never met James but i knew his brother Arzo (a wonderful person) . Aunt Alice Phillips Hale was one of the sweetest souls I have ever met. I dearly loved her.

My father Isaac ( IKE) was his mother’s Brother I have a couple of photos of Alice and Johnny when Johnny lived beside the rail– Road tracks I was able to meet Lexie and Pauline we discusses family History God bless and prayer’s for family.
