JACKSBORO, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF) – Judge Amanda Sammons has announced her bid for re-election to the office of General Sessions and Juvenile Court Judge for Campbell County, Tennessee.

A 2004 graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Law, Sammons served as an assistant district attorney under General Paul Phillips for 10 years before becoming the first female elected to the office of Campbell County Judge in 2014.

Married for 19 years, Sammons and her husband, Scott, a LaFollette native, enjoy exploring the outdoors together, being involved in their church, and spending time with their foster grandchildren.

Sammons has been honored to serve the citizens of Campbell County for the past seven years as county judge, and is looking forward to the opportunity to be back on the ballot in 2022.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 10/25/2021-6AM)
