LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – WLAF radio sports personality and attorney Keith Hatfield (above) who passed away in September will be honored and remembered on today on the grounds of West La Follette Community Center..

Johnny Byrge, parks and recreation director for the City La Follette, said there will be a tree dedication in memory of Hatfield, as all his friends called him, on Tuesday at noon. Byrge extends an invitation to everyone. The dedication will take place in the grassy bottom between the old school (West La Follette Community Center) and the library.

Perhaps it’s only fitting that the dedication is taking place not far from Hatfield’s childhood home on West Elm Street and the elementary school, West La Follette School, he attended. To add to that, it comes on the opening day of Hatfield’s beloved Campbell High’s basketball season. Basketball was his favorite sport. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 11/15/2021-6AM)
