Robert Wayne (Tweety) Tompkins, age 77 of Jacksboro passed away Wednesday April 20th, 2022. He was a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Jacksboro. He was retired from the TVA after 29 years, and a member of Masonic Lodge 320 in Cleveland Ohio. Preceded in death by parents H.W. and Helen Smith Tompkins, grandparents Charles and Paralee Smith, Henry and Loni Tompkins, niece Amy Tompkins.

Wife: Nancy Volbrecht Tompkins

Daughter: Janell (Scott) Durham

Sons: Keith Tompkins, Robert H. Tompkins, Danny (Leatha) Shuster

Grandchildren: Cameron, and Justin Shuster, Megan Tompkins, Seth Tompkins, Bradley Durham, Elizabeth Durham Long and husband Brandon.

Great-Grandchildren: Beckett Tompkins, LolaBeth Long

Brother: Joe (Joyce) Tompkins

Nephew: Russ Tompkins, wife Sabri, and daughter Lauren

Along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends from 12-2 PM Saturday April 23rd at Cross-Smith Funeral Home, with funeral service to follow at 2 PM in Cross-Smith Chapel with Rev. J.T. Asbury officiating. Interment to follow funeral service in Jacksboro Cemetery.
