KNOXVILLE, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF) – Food City recently partnered with Eagle Distributing to host a promotion to benefit Anheuser-Busch’s Folds of Honor program.  The promotion ran in all Food City locations from May 23rd – July 4th.  Food City donated $1.00 for every case of Budweiser 24-pack of 12 oz. cans purchased from Eagle Distributing during the promotion. 

On Friday, August 26th, representatives from Food City and Eagle Distributing presented a check totaling $8,000 to Anheuser-Busch’s Folds of Honor program.  The program honors the sacrifices of America’s veterans by providing scholarships to spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled service members.
