Alfred Eugene Dinkins, age 91 of Rocky Top, passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at his home. He was born on September 24, 1931 to the late Roy Johnathan and Margaret Viola Roach Dinkins in Cincinnati, OH. He was a member of Longfield Baptist Church in Rocky Top where he served as a Deacon. He retired from Clinton Utilities Board as a General Lineman. He was a United States Army Veteran who served in the Korean Conflict. Since retiring, he enjoyed fishing in his spare time. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death brothers, Ralph, Roy & Clyde Alonzo Dinkins; first wife, Ernestine Dinkins; second wife, Cora McMillan; and sister, Nancy Summer.

She is survived by: step-sister, Alice Morgan; companions and caregivers, Trudy and Albert Davis; fishing buddy, Roger Cox; several nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

The family will receive friends at the Leach Family Funeral Home and Cremation on Thursday, November 17, 2022 from 4-6pm with the funeral service to follow at 6pm. Graveside services will be on Friday, November 18, 2022 at 1pm at Leach Cemetery in Rocky Top. www.leachfamilyfuneralhome.com
