LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – The fun of Casey Kasem’s American Top 40 The 70s trips back to June 25, 1977, Saturday night at 7 pm over WLAF radio. The fun three hours of memories are brought to you by Maynard’s Auto Parts and State Representative Dennis Powers.

Gonna Fly Now, the theme from the hit movie Rocky, appeared twice on the chart this week with one version from Bill Conti and the other from Maynard Ferguson. Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville and The Eagles Life in the Fast Lane will also be heard again this weekend over WLAF from that long ago week. In addition to these songs, you’ll hear the nation’s other top 36 songs over WLAF just like they all played here on the old radio station in 1977.
