LAFOLLETTE, TN. (WLAF)- Campbell County has a new farm fresh market.

On Sat., June 24, Greeneview Farms Market opened. Stocked with locally raised beef, pork and vegetables the family owned market will have everything needed for a meal.

The market is the end result of a farm family who is changing with the times while staying true to their roots.

For a long time, the Greene family operated a dairy while also running a farming operation. But as farming evolved, they began to produce beef. Now, that locally raised beef will be sold in the family store at 294 Holstein Dr., LaFollette.

David Greene has worked as a nutritional consultant for cattle as a career while his son, Tyler Greene, opted to become a diesel mechanic. While he has enjoyed that career, Tyler Greene still felt the pull of the farm that four generations of Greenes before him have worked.

With that in mind, the family decided to take their cattle operation to a new level. Greeneview Farms Market, a family owned and operated business, will offer beef, pork and vegetables that all come from Holstein Drive. Along with those staples, the market will offer fresh eggs, honey, honey butter and soft serve ice cream, David Greene said. What the Greenes don’t produce will be grown by their neighbors.

In the store, customers can choose from a multitude of meats.

“We offer everything from a whole beef all the way down to one piece of meat,” David Greene said.

The store will also offer a monthly subscription service where customers will receive beef packaged in dry ice and shipped to their door.

Greeneview Farms Market will be staffed by the family. The market will be open Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays from noon until 8pm.

For the Greene family, the emphasis is on homegrown. Whether it is the beef, the staff or the materials that constructed the building itself, Greeneview Farms Market is a representation of family and Campbell County. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED 6/25/2023- 6AM)

    1. Thank you for your response, Pamela.

The address is 294 Holstein Dr., La Follette. Head up the valley from La Follette, pass the Frontier Store and Dollar Store on your right. It’s the first street to the right very soon after passing The Dollar Store.

      Best,

    1. The ice cream was great! Vegetables are so fresh and reasonably priced. We also tried the sausage this morning for breakfast and the grand kids loved it.
