ATLANTA, GA (WLAF) – Campbell County High School Seniors Anna Cain and Michael Kennedy have been selected to become members of an esteemed organization, The National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS). The Society recognizes top scholars who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, scholarship and community commitment.
“On behalf of NSHSS, I am honored to recognize the hard work, sacrifice and commitment that Anna has demonstrated to achieve this exceptional level of academic excellence,” said NSHSS Founder and Chairman Claes Nobel, senior member of the family that established the Nobel Prizes. “Anna is now a member of a unique community of scholars – a community that represents our very best hope for the future.”
“Michael is an outstanding technology student. He has a great work ethic and is a great team member and leader,” said CCHS Computer Application and Web Design Teacher Lisa Bolton. She adds, “He loves learning about technology. Michael has been in my Web Design and Coding classes, and is excellent at both aspects. He has a great eye for graphic design, and I expect him to continue in a technology related career.”
NSHSS members automatically become lifetime members at the time of their initial membership. At each step along the way – from high school to college to career – NSHSS connects outstanding young scholars with the resources they need to develop their strengths and pursue their passions.
